We are blessed in the UK with amazing nature and easy access to amazing walks. Yorkshire is our home county and it is only fitting for us to start our series on walks for beginners here, in the place we know and love. Gods Own County where a friendly welcome is guaranteed for all.
Part of the famous 3 peaks challenge, Ingleborough combines with Pen y Ghent and Whernside, and has become the gruelling 23 mile challenge that is a must have on all serious walkers bucket lists.
However for those just starting out, Ingleborough, while not the highest is arguably the most impressive and rewarding to help you cement that walking bug deep in your heart.

The flat summit can be a challenge in bad weather and it is easy to lose your bearings so caution must be exercised on poor weather days.
