Delivery & Returns Information

UK - DELIVERY INFORMATION 

Orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched on the same working day.  Orders placed from 2pm on Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched on  the following Monday (if no bank holidays affect these dates).

Standard delivery normally takes 1-3 working days.

Though we will do everything possible to dispatch your order to you on time. All delivery timescales are subject to delays caused by seasonal or busy periods, weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

All standard deliveries within the UK are dispatched via a tracked delivery service at a cost of £3.50 and should be delivered in 1-3 working days. Our free delivery offer does not apply to orders for gift boxes, or in conjunction with other special offers.

Express delivery in the UK will be sent to you at a cost of £6.50. Your order will be delivered by 5pm on the next working day (not weekends). Please be aware that this delivery method is for UK addresses only and requires a signature upon delivery.

COVID-19 UPDATES

Although we are trying our best to keep to our normal delivery times, some delays may occur during the current COVID-19 situation. Please bear with us if this happens, it is out of our control and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

Express shipping has been suspended temporarily outside of the UK as we always want to ensure we offer the best delivery service we can, even during this uncertain period.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES

Orders to countries outside of the UK may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. We ship your package according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). We do not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes on orders to countries outside the UK and we cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If in any doubt please check with your local customs office for more information.

** US Customers, duties are only payable on orders over $800.00.

DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS

General: We are unable to ship to Russia at this time due to delivery and shipping issues. We hope to resolve this and to resume shipping as soon as possible.

UK-only items: Gift boxes containing alcoholic beverages are available for shipping in the UK only due to customs restrictions.

PO boxes: We are unable to deliver to PO boxes

APO addresses: Unfortunately, none of the international couriers is able to deliver parcels to APO addresses, as only the USPS is allowed to deliver to military bases.

Conditions for free delivery

Free Standard Delivery on orders. Please note that the minimum order value for free delivery is calculated using the final value of the order. This means that, if you use a discount code, it is not the original price of the items but the order value after applying the discount that needs to be over £35/£130 to be eligible for free shipping.

Your total satisfaction is extremely important to us, we want to be sure that you enjoy our high-quality products and receive superior customer service.

Returns policy and refunds

If for whatever reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase and would like to return your order, we will refund the full value of any products provided the conditions below are met:

1)  You return the products in question to us within 28 days of receipt of your order.

2)  You return the items back to us in a resalable condition. This means unworn, in the same condition you received them and with all labels and packaging intact. We cannot accept returns for hygiene reasons if they have been worn, or the packaging is not intact.

In case any of the items you purchased are faulty, please contact us and we will be happy to resolve the situation for you. 

Please note that we are currently unable to offer an international freepost returns label, so, unfortunately, we cannot cover the cost of postage, either of your original order or the return.

All returns are the customers responsibility until signed for in the Yorkshire Sock Company Warehouse.
